Estate Planning

Estate planning is not just about signing a Will or Trust. It is not enough to have a Power of Attorney if the document does not contain the powers necessary to protect and serve the principal in the event of disability. The documents are only the final proof of a well crafted plan.

Estate planning requires a holistic approach to understanding family dynamics and wishes. The attorney must take the time to learn the client’s desires in order to ensure the documents contain the powers necessary to reflect the client’s intent. Only then can the client have peace of mind that their wishes will be followed by the named agent upon their death or disability. We pride ourselves on the fact that our one-on-one interaction with clients gives us the opportunity to advise each client individually rather than duplicating the same plan for every client that walks through the door.
